FAQ - Game of MITO

Game of MITO

Q: How long the Game of MITO will last?

A: The Game of MITO will last from 5:00 PM UTC on November 27th to 12:00 AM UTC on December 22nd.

Q: Are there any benefits for people who participated in the Expedition?

A: When distributing the starting assets, they are allocated proportionately to the assets deposited in the Expedition. Additionally, more is distributed based on the calculated value of MITO points.

Q: How do the Super Passes I had and the referrals I invited work? Do they become useless after the waitlist ends?

A: Not at all. We appreciate your referral efforts. If you invited someone through a Superpass or as a regular referral, you will receive 0.5% (for regular referrals) to 1.5% (for Super Pass referrals) of the XP they earn daily. This means the progress of the people you invited contributes to your own advancement, helping you climb higher.

Q: How are testnet assets distributed?

A: Through two faucet systems:

  1. Main Faucet: Provides standard daily distributions to all participants
  2. Bonus Faucet: Offers enhanced rewards based on your Waitlist score

Q: How does my performance affect future MITO token allocation?

A: Your testnet performance directly impacts your future mainnet MITO allocation:

  • 70% weight: Testnet MITO tokens accumulated
  • 30% weight: Other testnet assets (LBTC, weETH, etc.)

Q: How does the XP system work?

A: XP is earned through:

  • On-chain activities with Mitosis L1 and ecosystem dApps
  • Discord role verification
  • Superpass referrals
  • Waitlist referrals
  • Game of MITO referrals XP determines your Level advancement and Tier placement.

Q: What are the different Tiers in Game of MITO?

A: There are five primary tiers (Bronze to Diamond), each with three sub-tiers. Tiers are dynamically updated based on relative XP rankings across all participants.

Q: How do I enhance my XP earning potential?

A: You can boost XP earnings through:

  • Strategic item usage across 6 equipment slots (up to 120% boost)
  • Crew system participation (coming soon)
  • Morse holding strategy (up to 60% boost)

Q: I’ve done some activities and held testnet MITO tokens, but there’s no change in my XP status.

A: It’s because XP is updated once daily (at 00:00 AM UTC). The amount of XP awarded differs based on the type of desposited asset and deposited amount.

Q: I had testnet MITO tokens, but there was no change in my XP status.

A: XP for holding MITO tokens will be awarded daily according to the designated formula based on the amount of $MITO tokens you hold at 00:00 AM UTC.

Q: What happens if I miss a daily faucet claim?

A: Each faucet claim is independent. Missing a day doesn't affect your future claiming ability, but you cannot claim retroactively.

Q: Can I participate in multiple dApps simultaneously?

A: Yes! We encourage engaging with multiple dApps as each offers unique reward mechanisms for testnet MITO tokens.

Q: How does Item Enhancement work?

A: Items can be enhanced up to level 5 using Clusters. Each enhancement attempt has a chance of failure, and higher levels require more Clusters.

Q: When will the Crew system be available?

A: The Crew system will be implemented soon during the testnet period. Stay tuned for announcements!

Q: Can I still join Waitlist and Superpass?

A: New Waitlist registrations made after 9 AM UTC on Nov 27th, 2024, including Superpass, are not valid (nothing will be recorded, and there will be no benefits).

On the other hand, new Referrals you make on the Waitlist are still eligible for benefits. Also, existing Referrals and Superpass Referrals you've made still stay valid for GM benefits.

Please note: If you invite the same address via Game of MITO and Waitlist, only one address will be applied for the benefits.

Q. Will Expedition run simultaneously while Game of MITO is ongoing?

A. Yes, Expedition will run simultaneously with Game of MITO. Both events will operate concurrently, without interruption to either one.

Q. Are $MITO allocations for MITO Points from Expedition and Game of MITO separate?

A. Yes, $MITO allocations for Expedition and Game of MITO are separate. However, users with higher MITO Points will have increased opportunities to boost their $MITO allocation via testnet participation.

Q. Will participating in various apps built on Mitosis L1 testnet make us eligible for the apps' future airdrops?

A. Mitosis does not determine airdrop eligibility for individual applications. Each app built on the Mitosis L1 testnet will make its own decisions regarding future airdrops and eligibility criteria.
