Rewards​

Q: Why haven't my rewards been updated yet?​

A: Rewards are updated every 24 hours. Please note that there might be a delay between when rewards are collected at the protocol level and when they appear in your dashboard.

Q: I've waited for 24 hours, but my rewards still haven't updated​

A: The reward distribution process has two steps:

  • First, the protocol collects and processes reward data
  • Then, this data is distributed to users every 24 hours

Please wait for both steps to be completed.

Q: Why are my rewards lower than expected given my miAsset balance?​

A: Rewards are calculated using a Time-Weighted Average Balance (TWAB) system: The calculation looks at your balance over the 72-hour period before the reward calculation.

For example, if rewards are calculated at 00:00 on the 14th, it considers your balance from 00:00 to 23:59 on the 10th.

Your reward amount is proportional to how long you held the assets during this period.

  • Holding for all 72 hours = 100% of possible rewards
  • Holding for less time = (hours held ÷ 72) × 100% of possible rewards

Voting​

Q: Why is my voting power lower than my current miAsset balance?​

A: Similar to rewards, voting power uses a Time-Weighted Average Balance (TWAB) system: Your voting power is based on your balance over the 72-hour period before the voting period starts. This helps prevent last-minute balance manipulations and ensures fair voting. The same proportional calculation applies: longer holding periods during the relevant 72 hours result in higher voting power.

Opt-in​

Q: The amount of miAssets I received is smaller than the amount of asset I actually opt-in.​

A: That’s because miAssets are cToken, which is yield-bearing.

Opt-out​

Q: I've initiated an opt-out, but haven't received my Mitosis chain assets yet.​

A: There is a mandatory minimum waiting period of 72 hours for opt-out requests. This period is essential for:

  • Ensuring system security
  • Processing all necessary validations
  • Maintaining system stability Please wait at least 72 hours after initiating your opt-out request

Faucet​

Q: How often can I use the faucet?​

A: The faucet has a cooldown period of 24 hours between uses. You must wait a full day after your last faucet use before you can request tokens again.
