alt text Users who meet each Phase’s eligibility requirements can deposit to Matrix Straddle Vault during the eligible phase. Once you complete a deposit transaction, your weETH is directly deposited to the Matrix Straddle Vault. On the other hand, it typically takes 2-4 days for your maweETH (Theo) to be claimable according to Straddle Vault’s operational Round system (it may take up to 7 days if the vault round operation gets delayed), and then the deposited weETH is used for the Straddle Vault strategy (learn more about Round here). After this waiting period, you’ll be able to claim your maweETH (Theo). The minimum deposit amount is 0.001 miweETH (or weETH).
Please take note that deposits and withdrawals typically take 2-4 days, and it may take slightly longer (~7 days) at times as rolling to the next round requires multisig transactions to be signed and due to the Theo team’s necessary manual review process to ensure protocol safety and position health. The process to roll rounds is handled by the Theo team.

Deposit funds to Matrix Straddle Vault

  1. First, check your eligibility to deposit during the current campaign Phase
  2. If you’re eligible, deposit your funds via Matrix front-end. Make sure you have miweETH or weETH on the correct campaign networks (Ethereum, Arbitrum, and Linea).
    • miweETH or weETH (on Ethereum, Arbitrum, and Linea): You can deposit on the Matrix app
    • miweETH (on other networks):
      • Redeem miweETH via Expedition, bridge weETH to the campaign networks (Ethereum, Arbitrum, or Linea), and deposit weETH - in this case, your Expedition Network Boost will be changed (e.g., if you have no miweETH on Scroll anymore, but maweETH (Theo) on Linea, you’ll lose 1.3x Chain Boost for Scroll and get 1.2x Chain Boost for Linea)
      • Get more weETH to deposit on the campaign networks if you want to deposit without redeeming miweETH and bridging weETH
  3. Claim your maweETH (Theo) once it becomes claimable after the waiting period
You may experience only a portion of your miweETH/weETH getting deposited into Matrix. This is because the remaining deposit cap could have been updated due to other depositors during your deposit process.In this case, please redeposit your already redeemed weETH to Expedition. Also, if this results in losing your MITO Points (weETH) or Expedition (weETH) Boosts, please open a ticket in our Discord and provide your wallet address with the date of your deposit transaction. We’ll recover what you lost retroactively. Recovery will only be provided for cases caused by the deposit cap limitation.

How to move your miweETH from Scroll, Mode, or Blast to the campaign networks

  1. Redeem your miweETH (on Scroll, Mode, or Blast) and get weETH back on https://app.mitosis.org/?asset=weETH
  2. Move weETH to the campaign networks (Ethereum, Arbitrum, or Linea) from the Scroll, Mode, or Blast networks
  • From Scroll, Mode, or Blast to Ethereum or Linea: Use Stargate
  • From Scroll, Mode, or Blast to Arbitrum:
    • Option 1: Use Stargate to move weETH to Ethereum first and use Arbitrum Bridge to move weETH from Ethereum to Arbitrum
    • Option 2: Use Jumper Exchange
  1. Now you have weETH on Ethereum, Arbitrum, or Linea. Go to the Matrix Theo campaign page, and deposit your weETH on your desired network
You just deposited weETH to the Theo Matrix campaign. Your existing Expedition Boosts will be correctly reflected, and you won’t lose any MITO Points (weETH) if you meet both conditions below.
  • You completed the weETH deposit to Matrix on the same UTC day on which you redeem miweETH
  • you still meet Expedition Boosts requirements by the sum of miweETH you hold and weETH you deposited amounts.
Due to deposit limits, you may not be able to deposit weETH to Matrix even though you’ve redeemed miweETH and have bridged weETH over to the supported networks.In this case, you can maintain your Expedition (weETH) Boosts by redepositing weETH to Expedition on the same UTC day.However, you’ll be affected by Expedition Community Redistribution Redemption.
